Freedom of Information

Freedom of Information Act 2000

The Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOI Act) gives people a general right of access to information held by public authorities, subject to certain exemptions. It also requires every public authority to have a publication scheme setting out its commitment to make certain classes of information routinely available.

More information about the FOI Act and Publication Schemes can be found on the websites of the Information Commissioner and GOV.UK.

Publication Scheme

The DMO's publication scheme includes information about the Commissioners for the Reduction of the National Debt (CRND) and the PWLB lending facility.
