This section provides a historical record of key announcements and publications relating to the DMO’s remits since 1998. These include the specific remits and financing arithmetic published with the Budget at the start of each financial year as well as subsequent revisions to these. Links are also provided to HM Treasury’s annual Debt and Reserves Management Reports, which outline the Government’s wider approach to debt management. The earliest publication available below - the Report of the Debt Management Review in 1995 - predates the inception of the DMO and established much of the current framework for Government debt management in the UK.
